2011 AZ-D Holiday Party (in 2012!) -
The event
of the year! Now, with more desserts! The 2011 AZ-D holiday party will
be hosted by Tom and Janice at their home in Coolidge, AZ! We will be
meeting at 2:00 PM. A map with directions is in the members' area of
this site.
There are surprises every year, wonder what will happen this year? |

Downtown Historic Casa
Grande Car Show - Located in downtown Casa Grande (duh!). This has been
an annual AZ-D event for many years and we always have a good time and
a good turn-out! Note: We had three
DeLoreans in attendance!

Monthly Lunch - This
month will be planned by Mark and Karen. We will be going to Red Robin
in Scottsdale near the Loop 101 and Scottsdale Rd @ NOON. |

Picnic Lunch (NEW) - Mike and Patti
Substelny will be visiting AZ from the cold Cleveland area and we will
be hosting a (hopefully warm) outdoor picnic lunch!

Monthly Lunch - Noon. This month
will be held at Darcy McGee's in the Tempe Marketplace! Note: We had eight
DeLoreans in attendance - this may be a new record for an AZ-D lunch!

Wheels of Britain Car Show - This
annual event is a favorite among AZ-D'ers! As usual it will be at
Heritage Square in Phoenix.

Highland Games - This two-day event
is now located in Phoenix, instead of Mesa. This will be the first year
that AZ-D has participated in the car show portion of the Highland
Games.

Monthly Lunch - The Cornish Pasty Co. in Mesa at noon (SE corner of Dobson and
Guadalupe). The management likes us and lets us park all of the cars
out front. Let's take advantage of this, and take up all of the parking
spaces with DeLoreans! :-)

Tech Event - This year we are joined
by James Espey (and maybe even
Stephen Wynne!) of
DMC Texas and Don Steger of
DMC California! As
usual, the event will be held at the "West Wing" - Johnny and Sherine's
home/garage! Set up your lift time with Johnny and don't forget to call
Don & Danny in CA with your parts orders!

4th Annual Driving Scavenger Hunt -
This year will be planned by last year's winners: Doug & Sarah! The
list will be posted on the forum in the morning and you will have until
5:00 PM for your team to find what is on the list. We will meet back at
Doug's house for dinner and awards! Congrats to the
winning team: Felix and Bob Allen! |

Monthly Dinner - This is the first
dinner of the year and is being planned by Hugh and Laura! We will be
meeting at the Sandbar Mexican Grill
in Chandler at 6:30pm!

DeLorean Car Show - This year DCS will be held at Walt Disney World, Florida! This is
a great 4-day weekend celebrating all-things DeLorean! If you have
never been to a DCS, you are missing some great times!

5th Annual Pool Party - This event
is an AZ-D favorite!! Tom & Janice open up their home to us and
allow us to play in the pool, watch movies in the theater, play air
hockey, play pinball, play video games, and the list goes on, and on,
and on... Oh yeah, don't forget to bring money for the raffle!

Monthly DINNER - This month will be
planned by Doug and Sarah. We will be having German food! Meet at
7:00pm. Specific details TBA!

Monthly DINNER - We are going back
to Lucille's BBQ in the Tempe Marketplace! Last year when we were there
we set a record for number of DeLoreans at a lunch! This year will be a
dinner, but the food will be just as good! Be there at 6:30pm.

Movie and a Dinner! 5 and Diner
(16th St.) will be showing Back to the Future and having a costume
contest. Several AZ-D members will be attending. Event starts at
8:00pm. Be there 1/2 hour early. See Members' section of the forum for
more details.

3rd Annual Fall Color Tour - The
last two years we drove to beautiful, scenic Sedona! This year... WE
ARE GOING TO THE GRAND CANYON!
This will be an overnight trip. We will be leaving early on Saturday
morning (meeting at 8:00am at
the Home Depot parking lot at I-17 and Care Free Highway). We will head
to the South Rim and later that evening head back into Flagstaff to
spend the night. We will begin the return trip on Sunday, after
breakfast! For more details, and the official poll, see the Members'
section of the AZ-D forum. There will
be no 2nd Saturday monthly lunch in November.
